The Hunter Detachable Box Magazine (DBM) bottom metal is designed for shooters that are looking for a flush mounted bottom metal that will accept flush magazines. The bottom metal is machined from a single piece of billet 6061 and features a patented cantilever spring mag release system that will not open under heavy recoil. The magazine release is also adjustable, sleek and all but impossible to actuate accidentally.

Tactical shooters need to remain confident amid rapid magazine changes, and the Hawkins Precision M5 DBM is designed specifically for precision shooting. CNC-machined from a billet of aluminum, this bottom metal incorporates a barricade stop into the front of the magazine well and has a drafted magazine port. The M5 DBM also includes a patented cantilever spring release that will not open under recoil.

Hawkins Precision M5 Oberndorf BDL bottom metals are derived from our famous Oberndorf bottom metal, but are made to fit the same M5 stock inlet as our DBM’s. CNC machined from 6061 Billet Aluminum and designed for use with Wyatt’s extended length box magazines.

Features include a reversible floorplate catch, adjustable floorplate latch, and deeper floorplate which reduces spring pressure on the round stack for more reliable feeding.
